Goal 6: Develop, implement and promote campus based substance abuse intervention and treatment services.
Objective 6.1 Establish campus based substance abuse intervention and treatment services including, but not limited to, evaluation, social detoxification, outpatient and aftercare. Objective 6.2 70% of students identified through Teachers College intervention project will be referred for alcohol and other drug services.
Objective 6.3 Increase by 15% from baseline, the number of faculty, staff and students who call for medical assistance when an acutely intoxicated student is identified. Objective 6.4 Increase by 15% from baseline, the number of faculty, staff and students who are able to identify the contributing factors, signs and symptoms and appropriate response to acute intoxication.
Objective 6.5 Increase by 15% from baseline, the number of students who are able to distinguish between heavy drinking and early stage alcoholism. Objective 6.6 70% of the students identified through the UHC physician assessment process will be referred for alcohol and other drug services.
Objective 6.7 Increase the number of students who voluntarily seek assistance for self-identified substance abuse problems. Objective 6.8 Increase the number of students who express concern about another student's high-risk drinking behavior.
