Resident Roundtable Project
The Roundtable Task Force has identified five of the report's suggested solutions and is developing strategies to enact these recommendations for the fall of 2005. Click here for a copy of the Resident Roundtable Report.
Campus Education
A "Guiding Principles Assessment Survey" on Education was distributed to the coalition to gain a better sense of the educational priorities and language choices preferred by the campus community. Results were reported in the first "Campus Education" Workgroup meeting in May 2005. Robert Schroeder is the chair of this new workgroup. If you are interested in joining this effort, please contact Jane Reynolds.
Campus Environment
A recent summit with LPD Chief Tom Casady and UNLPD Asst Chief Fred Gardy yielded good insight and direction for all attending. Students and police were able to share concerns and clarify misperceptions. Several action steps were determined for future improvements. Click here for a copy of the recommendations.
Greek Re-Evolution
The Greek Re-Evolution Project funded by the United States Department of Education is now completed, but the work to help chapters become revitalized will be extended through a grant from the Cooper Foundation. Read the summary of findings from 2003-2005.
Community Environment
The workgroup has created a series of information briefings to help legislators understand the issues of outlet density and reducing the harms of college drinking through environmental management. Copies of these briefings are available on the Home page; An update of current legislation being discussed in the Nebraska Unicameral can be found here.
